We’re looking for a Senior Software Engineer - UI to join the Linked In Business Platform team on building the Next Gen Business Platform. You will be responsible for establishing design patterns, building the foundation/platform and enterprise/customer applications that will power the Commerce ecosystem for B2 C and B2 B consumers. Commerce systems present the additional challenge of delivering secure distributed transactions across multiple data centers while ensuring PCI and SOX compliance. Linked In Business Platform is one of our company's top FY25 priorities and in this role, you'll have a unique opportunity to develop the software ecosystem that will have billions of dollars flow through for Linked In. This role will be based in Bangalore, India. At Linked In, we trust each other to do our best work where it works best for us and our teams. This role offers a hybrid work option, meaning you can both work from home and commute to a Linked In office, depending on what’s best for you and when it is important for your team to be together.Responsibilities: You will own the front-end development for a suite of products and collaborate with engineering users, other developers, and leadership to launch new products, iterate on existing features, and build world-class user experiences. You will implement cutting-edge technologies and will be writing state-of-the-art code to keep Linked In at the leading edge of the technology landscape. Your specific expertise will be required to make our products delightful, secure, performant and accessible to all our users. Review others’ work and share knowledge. Basic Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field or relevant technical experience 5+ years of hands-on experience with semantic HTML, CSS and object-oriented Java Script, j Query Preferred Qualifications: Extensive programming experience in modern Java Script / Type Script / similar languages; frameworks such as React / similar Experience developing multi-tier scalable and user-centric reliable applications that operate 24x7 Deep foundational knowledge of data structures and algorithms Knowledge of UI and animation frameworks, touch user interface, and MVP application design Suggested Skills : - Javascript- HTML - CSS You will Benefit from our Culture: We strongly believe in the well-being of our employees and their families.
