Job Title: Product Management Lead
Location: Hybrid – Chennai (Mandatory 10 days in a month)
Job type: Full time
About the Job: The role of the Product Management Lead is to provide day-to-day supervision, collaborate with functional teams to determine business requirements, and provide leadership and direction across the Functional team by understanding the business process and end-user requirements.
What will you do:
- Supervise/Review the following:
- Functional Support for Development/Maintenance projects
- Gathers the requirements from the End Customer or Onsite members, either in person or via calls – and work progressively towards achieving sign-off for the same
- Creates fresh Functional Specification Documents based on information received from the End Customer or Onsite members
- Carries out the modification to the existing Functional Specification Documents based on the information received from the End Customer or Onsite members
- Acts as the Functional point of contact for all the developers and testers, for the concerned functionality – ensures that the System Functionality is built as per the Functional Specifications, and clarify all Functional queries raised by the team
- Carries out the Functional Testing throughout the UI
- Carries out the Functional Testing through the back-end – leveraging the help of Dev/DBA/Testers to look for the presence of the right value in the right Table and Column
- Functional support for DB Design – provides the necessary Functional Inputs and carry out the Functional Validation in support of the Data Model creation or modification process
- Carries out the Functional Training/walkthroughs/ Knowledge transfer for the team members who require the same
- Creates the Process Flow diagrams as per the needs of the project and leveraging the tools such as MS-Visio for the same (wherever applicable)
- Prepares the Prototype as per the needs of the project – includes preparing Wireframes, interfacing with the UI Team to get the required output and defining the flow of the prototype
- Carry out Demos – Demo the Prototype or Iteration, as required by the Project
- Prepares the Demo and finalizing the demo script, ensuring the right sample data is in place, and so on
- Clarification Tracking – Owns the process of recording and resolving all Functional queries that require clarification
- Defect Tracking – Validates the defects shared by CTI/INC/End Customer Testing teams and categorize them accordingly
- User Guides – Provides the Functional inputs to the Product Packaging team to ensure that the User Guides thoroughly capture the usage of the Product, and they are kept updated based on changes in the application
- Stand-up/Status meetings – Acts as an effective liaison between various stakeholders to ensure that all such meetings are productive, and capture Meeting minutes in an effective manner
- Functional Support for Innovation
- Contributes Ideas that lead to New Solution POCs or Enhancements to existing products
- Contributes to Innovation-related Operations, such as maintenance of Innovation Portal and Idea Life-cycle Management
- Research in support of Innovation POCs (Market needs, Functionality and so on)
- Performs activities such as Storyboard, Wireframe, Data Preparation, and so on in support of Innovation POCs
- Collaborate with all stakeholders (Dev, Testing, UI, and so on)
- Demo the POC
- Functional Knowledge Dissemination
- Creates the Functional Course Material (Classroom Training/Open House/Others)
- Carries out the Functional Training (Classroom Training/Open House/Others)
- Summarizes the relevant Industry trends and news and circulate it within CTI in the form of Mailers, White Papers, and so on
- Business Development Support
- Proposal Authoring – aids with the RFP/RFI responses and estimation
- Functional Gap analysis – aids with the RFP responses and estimation
- Prepares and/or presents the Product-centric PPTs to prospective clients
- Prepares Demos to Prospective Clients – preparation includes customization of demo script, data preparation, coordination with technical members, dry runs, and so on
- Presents Demo to Prospective Clients
- Contributes to the Maintenance of Standard Product Collaterals; such as PPTs, Brochures, and Standardized Demo Box
- Contributes to any External Workshops/Events held by Acentra Health to promote the company brand
- Authors Market-facing White Papers on Industry trends or Acentra Health offerings
- Talent Acquisition & Development Support
- Evaluation of the BA candidates – Virtual or F2F
- Mentoring/Supervising next-level BAs
Who are you:
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's or advanced degree in computer science or equivalent
- Experience: Over 10 years of experience in technology leadership with a strong focus on Product management – functional
Technical Skills:
- In-depth knowledge and demonstrable experience in the following technologies and methodologies:
- Strong exposure of US healthcare specifically in Payer and Provider domain
- Experience with: Business Writing - Proposals, Collaterals, White Papers
- Creation of PowerPoint Presentations
- Managing teams with strong collaboration, remarkable culture, and positive working environments
