Job Overview

We are in search of a dedicated Frontend Engineer with a comprehensive grasp of web technologies. The right candidate should be adept at blending technical know-how with design sensibilities to produce intuitive and visually compelling web applications.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain our websites and web applications modern frontend frameworks and libraries.
  • Create visually engaging user interfaces, emphasizing design principles such as spacing, alignment, contrast, and typography.
  • Craft and optimize responsive designs that provide seamless experiences across different devices and screen orientations.
  • Interface with APIs, manage data-fetching tasks, and handle errors in a user-friendly manner.
  • Employ best practices for performance, security, accessibility, and SEO.
  • Identify and resolve performance and bottleneck issues in the frontend.
  • Collaborate with team members to conceive and execute projects from start to finish.
  • Understand and utilize relevant open source libraries and tools.

Requirements:

  • 2 years of professional experience building and shipping web applications using frontend frameworks.
  • Proficiency in web fundamentals: HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a must.
  • An adept understanding of design aesthetics and principles, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Demonstrated experience building responsive, cross-browser compatible web interfaces .
  • Demonstrated experience interfacing with APIs and managing data-fetching tasks.
  • An independent thinker, able to drive tasks forward without constant oversight.
  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities and logical reasoning.
  • Exposure to at least one of these web related technologies such as React, Redux, RxJS, Angular, Webpack, Gulp.

Technical Skills:

  • React.js: Functional Components, Hooks, Context API, Router
  • Core Web: HTML5, CSS3 (Flexbox, Grid), ES6+ JavaScript
  • API: Fetch, Error Handling, Asynchronous operations
  • Tools: Git, Webpack/Bundlers, npm/yarn
