Why Orbit
CI/CD pipelines are growing more complex, with fragmented telemetry and mounting contention for shared infrastructure. Orbit provides unified telemetry and AI-driven insights to detect bottlenecks, reduce flakiness, and optimize pipeline performance across on-prem and cloud environments.
What You’ll Do
- Build distributed backend services for ingesting, processing, and querying high-volume telemetry
- Design and evolve APIs that power Orbit’s dashboards and AI agents
- Work across the stack, backend first, but with opportunities to contribute to frontend
- Shape architecture and product direction as an early team member
Must Haves
- 3–5 years Golang backend development experience
- Experience with distributed systems (queues, schedulers, workflow engines, data pipelines)
- Solid understanding of APIs, data modeling, and databases
- Comfort with cloud-native development (AWS/GCP, containers, orchestration)
- Product mindset - building for usability, reliability, and speed
Nice to Have
- Exposure to telemetry, observability, or monitoring systems
- Event-driven architectures (Kafka, Temporal, NATS, etc.)
- Frontend experience with React/TypeScript
- Interest in LLM-driven products or eBPF
