Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) Consultant with a minimum of 7+ years of experience, including 2-3 full implementation cycles. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in integrating SAP EWM with other SAP components such as SAP SD, PP, and MM. You should possess hands-on experience with inbound and outbound processes, physical inventory, production staging, and various warehouse functionalities in SAP EWM. The role may involve project implementation, support assignments, or other tasks as required by the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Inbound, Outbound, and Production Staging Processes:
Expertise in managing inbound and outbound processes, as well as production staging in SAP EWM.
Ensure smooth configuration and operation of these processes to integrate with SAP ECC.
Configuration & Integration:
Configure inbound, outbound processes, Physical Inventory, and Post Processing Framework (PPF).
Set up integration between SAP EWM and ECC systems, ensuring end-to-end data flow and process optimization.
Warehouse Structure & Optimization:
Configure Process-Oriented Storage Control (POSC), Layout-Oriented Storage Control (LOSC), and optimize search sequences of storage types.
Configure Warehouse Order Creation Rules (WOCR) and Activity Areas to maximize warehouse efficiency.
Stock Management:
Execute Posting Change and Stock Transfer processes in SAP EWM.
Manage Handling Unit (HU) systems efficiently for both inbound and outbound warehouse operations.
RF Transactions:
Expertise in SAP standard RF transactions for warehouse operations.
Develop and implement custom RF transactions to meet specific client requirements.
Custom Development:
Ability to design and deliver custom developments (RICEFW: Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms, and Workflows).
Tailor solutions to client needs using SAP best practices.
LE-WM Experience:
Provide additional expertise in Logistics Execution (LE) and Warehouse Management (WM) where necessary.
Cross-Functional Integration:
Strong experience in integrating SAP EWM with other modules, particularly SD (Sales & Distribution), PP (Production Planning), and MM (Materials Management).
Must Have Skills:
- Proficiency in SAP EWM processes including inbound, outbound, and production staging.
- Configuration of PPF, Physical Inventory, and outbound integration with SAP ECC.
- Experience with storage control (POSC, LOSC), search sequences, and warehouse order creation rules.
- Handling Unit (HU) management expertise.
- Experience with both SAP standard RF transactions and custom RF development.
- Strong knowledge of stock transfers and posting changes within SAP EWM.
- Hands-on experience in custom developments using RICEFW.
- Exposure to SAP LE-WM module for broader supply chain management functionality.
- Very Good Communication Skills
Requirements:

- Project Experience: The candidate should be comfortable working in both implementation and support projects.
