Remesleep is a pioneering sleep care startup dedicated to revolutionizing how people approach their sleep health. By combining innovative technology and science-backed solutions and a panel of experienced sleep specialists & therapists, we aim to enhance the lives of our customers, one restful night at a time. As we enter a critical growth phase, we are seeking a Sales leader to drive sales and support operations, driving our mission to scale effectively and serve our customers better.
Remesleep is founded by a team of sleep specialist doctors & healthtech entrepreneur. Our Board of Advisors include ex-C-suite from a unicorn Indian healthcare startup, and senior exec from India's largest sleep focused medtech company and a Swiss sleeptech device founder.
The company is already revenue generating, and is looking to scale operations across channels and expanding across cities in India. .
Remesleep is a bootstrapped startup, and compensation will be in line with our growth trajectory, designed for those passionate about building a business from the ground up.
- This role offers a unique opportunity to join as FIRST 10 employee key founder-level partner with significant equity compensation.
- The compensation is mainly variable commission / incentive based salary in line with a leaner startup-level fixed salary.
Responsibilities
Key focus is to onboard doctors to the Remesleep referral network / panel and engage them to refer patients for sleep tests which can be conducted in hospital for their hospitalized patients, or at home based on patient condition and convenience. Training on the process & test will be provided by the Remesleep team.
1) On-field Sales Leadership
- This role will involve spending time on the field to expand business with current customers and onboard new customers in the Mumbai geography
- Engage customers to further understand their needs and build a compelling sales pitch that can be scaled as the team expands
- Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to drive revenue growth and customer acquisition.
- Build, lead, and manage the sales team once early proof is established and funding is raised
- Expand customer reach through direct sales, partnerships, and channel development.
2) Operational support
- Oversee daily operations to ensure smooth execution of business activities, aligning with company goals.
- Streamline processes and systems for maximum efficiency, including logistics, customer support, and supply chain management.
- Collaborate with Founders to identify areas of improvement to drive customer satisfaction
3) Market and Customer Insights
- As part of sales activities - identify trends, customer needs, and opportunities for growth.
- Establish strong relationships with customers to gather feedback and inform product and service improvements.
- Develop strategies to enhance customer satisfaction and retention.
4) Business Strategy Execution
- Collaborate with the Founders to translate the company’s vision into actionable business strategies.
- Identify and capitalize on opportunities to scale the business, ensuring readiness for rapid growth.
Qualifications
- Have 3-5 years recent experience in Field sales
- Experience: Proven track record in leading sales and operations, preferably in a startup, healthcare, wellness, or consumer technology environment.
- Sales Acumen: Deep understanding of B2B sales, especially to SMEs (hospitals), with experience building and scaling sales teams.
- Customer Focus: Strong customer orientation with experience in improving customer acquisition, satisfaction, and retention.
- Execution-Oriented: A hands-on leader with a “roll-up-your-sleeves” attitude and an entrepreneurial mindset.
- Education qual: MBA preferred, and preferably graduate in science. Both not mandatory for the right candidate
