Sr QA Engineer

We are seeking a Senior QA Engineer with a strong foundation in both manual and automation testing, who also possesses the analytical skills of a Business Analyst. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our software products by developing comprehensive test strategies, translating business requirements into use cases and test cases, and actively participating in our Agile processes as a Scrum Master.

Key Responsibilities:

Testing Fundamentals:

Develop, execute, and maintain manual and automated test cases.

Perform thorough regression testing and ensure coverage across all critical features.

Identify, document, and track defects in a clear and concise manner.

Business Analysis:

Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and understand business requirements.

Translate business needs into clear, actionable use cases and test cases.

Conduct impact analysis and provide feedback on functional specifications.

Project Management:

Exp wiith working with a Scrum Master, facilitating Agile ceremonies (Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Retrospectives).

Collaboration and Communication:

Work closely with developers, product managers, and other team members to ensure quality throughout the development process.

Advocate for quality within the team, promoting best practices in testing and quality assurance.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

5+ years of experience in QA, with a strong focus on both manual and automated testing.

Proficiency in test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG) and scripting languages.

Solid understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Bonus Points:

Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, Confluence) and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices.
