Network Manager is responsible for architecting, Uptime and day to day Operations of Network Infrastructure. Ensuring that all Network component and links meet their operational targets (SLA). Person is expected to be a Subject Matter Expert and possess in-depth knowledge of networking, network devices, LAN, WAN, WIFI, Firewalls, IDS/IPS, APT, NAC, DDOS, VPN and network monitoring tools and processes.

Work Experience:

Minimum of 15 years’ total experience of which 10 years should be in handling enterprise level mission critical networks

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring Response and Resolution to meet SLA driven delivery of Network setup
  • Uptime to be maintained at 99.99% for remote and local network connectivity measured weekly
  • Network Performance Measurement and ensuring network performance of LAN/ WAN/WiFi Network of Godrej network and ISP.
  • Architecting and rollout of Network technologies such as Data Center Switching Campus Switching, WIFI Technology, Routing and Cloud Connectivity.
  • Knowledge and experience in Software defined Network rollout
  • In-depth understanding of Switching and routing protocol.
  • Responsible for uptime, capacity management and metering of LAN, WAN, Campus backbone, Internet & WIFI setup across India
  • Well versed with troubleshooting tools, monitoring processes and commands
  • Establish processes and implement tools for proactive monitoring and resolution of network connectivity.
  • Selection and rollout of tools and technology to measure uptime, performance and Capacity for current loads and proactively for anticipated loads.
  • Selection of Vendor & Vendors SLA management
  • Preparing and maintaining weekly, Monthly reporting & Incident, Problem and Change Management

Knowledge and Skills Requirement:

  • Experience handling multilocation network for large conglomerate having a network with more than 500 nodes
  • Experience in handling a team of Network Administrators
  • Experience in SLA Management for large organization
  • Experience in handling Escalations in 24x7 Operations
  • Strong knowledge of external vendor management with industry connect
  • Strong understanding of project management principles.

Certification:

CCIE & CCNP, ITIL, ISO 27001:2013

Qualification:

Engineering graduate in Electronics/Computer/IT
