Position: Middle Years English Teacher The experienced and passionate English Teacher will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction in the subject. We are looking for an IB Middle Years Programme (MYP)teacher. The teacher should inspire students through a stimulating learning environment that promotes inquiry, reflection, and conceptual understanding in English language and literature. Plan and deliver engaging, inquiry-based English lessons. Foster strong reading, writing, speaking, and analytical skills in students. Integrate interdisciplinary links and global contexts into English teaching. Design formative and summative assessments for English language and literature. Participate in student-led conferences and parent-teacher meetings. Collaborate with colleagues for transdisciplinary units and grade-level planning. Participate in training workshops and internal staff development sessions. Contribute to curriculum review and school improvement initiatives. Provide individualised support where necessary and ensure inclusion. Maintain required documentation, including unit plans, assessment tasks, and feedback. Follow school policies related to academic integrity, safety, and code of conduct. Qualifications and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Education or English (Master’s preferred). Certified teacher with experience in the IB MYP (minimum 2 years preferred). Strong command over the English language and literature. A collaborative and forward-thinking school culture.
