Job Title: WordPress Developer


Job Overview:

We are looking for an experienced WordPress Developer with a strong understanding of both front-end and back-end development. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for front-end design, ensuring consistency with chosen themes, and should be well-versed in creating and maintaining custom plugins and integrations. This role requires proficiency in multiple languages relevant to WordPress development, a collaborative mindset, and a passion for optimizing the user experience.


Key Responsibilities:


Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress websites, both front-end and back-end.

Implement responsive and visually appealing designs that align with selected themes and brand guidelines.

Build and manage custom WordPress plugins, themes, and modules.

Optimize websites for performance, ensuring fast loading speeds and smooth user interactions.

Collaborate with design and content teams to ensure an intuitive and consistent user experience.

Troubleshoot and resolve site issues, including debugging plugin and theme conflicts.

Integrate third-party APIs and maintain security best practices.

Stay updated on the latest industry trends and WordPress updates to keep the websites secure and functioning optimally.

Required Skills & Qualifications:


Proficient in front-end technologies: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery.

Familiarity with front-end frameworks: Bootstrap, Foundation (optional but preferred).

Strong command of back-end languages and tools: PHP, MySQL.

Experience with WordPress page builders: Elementor, WPBakery, or similar.

Theme and Plugin Development: Ability to customize themes, build plugins, and modify existing functionality.

Version Control Systems: Git, GitHub, or Bitbucket.

Understanding of RESTful APIs and third-party integrations.

SEO and Performance Optimization: Knowledge of web performance best practices and SEO.

Basic design skills: Familiarity with tools like Adobe Photoshop, XD, Figma, or Sketch is a plus.

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications:


Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field.

3+ years of experience as a WordPress Developer.

Familiarity with security protocols and best practices in WordPress.

  • Understanding of website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics).
