Job Title :- PTR-LCM (Powertrain Life Cycle Management)

Minimum Exp :- 3 to 6 years of relevant engineering experience.

Domain :- Wind Turbine

Qualification :- Bachelor's / Master's in Mechanical Engineering

Location: - Chennai


KEY SKILLS :-Wind turbine Main bearing system and mechanical casting structures. Castings, GD&T and Stack up analysis. Creo 3D CAD solid modelling, Windchill, Welding structures, & Structural Component.


Job Responsibilities: -

  • Experience with the following systems: Wind turbine Main bearing system and mechanical casting structures.
  • Working experience in Engineering change management as per the customer/supplier/internal requirements.
  • Competency in Castings, GD&T and Stack up analysis.
  • Experience in Creo 3D CAD solid modelling/drafting of system, subsystem & components.
  • Desirable working experience in PLM systems to manage engineering drawings and documents. Windchill
  • ISO standards related to Welding structures, & Structural Component


Role & Responsibilities:

  • Drive ECR/ECN activities as per the customer/supplier/internal needs, should be complete in stipulated time.
  • Responsibility for complete change release including 3D, 2D & BOM to supplier, production in PDMlink system.
  • Collaborate with experts from various engineering disciplines, such as main bearings, casting structures, rotor lock, loads, and control.
  • Ensure support for relevant sub-module, module, and Vestas Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and initiative
