Technical Writer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Mid-Level Technical Writer to join our dynamic IT team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating, editing, and maintaining high-quality technical documentation that effectively communicates complex information to our diverse audience. Your work will support our software development, IT services, and customer support teams, ensuring that all stakeholders have access to clear and concise documentation.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

• Create, edit, and update a variety of technical documents, including user manuals, online help guides, system specifications, and training materials.
• Work closely with Engineering teams to create and maintain documents for product throughout their life-cycle.
• Conduct thorough research on assigned projects, including reviewing existing documentation and materials, to understand the technology, tools, and processes.
• Organize and structure content to enhance readability and usability, ensuring that documentation adheres to established standards and guidelines.
• Comfortable in learning documentation tools and project management software (such as JIRA) to create and manage documentation projects efficiently.
• Adhere to high quality work standards
• Responsible for maintaining Confidentiality, Integrity and Availability of Vehere’s information assets including business critical information.

Skills and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Technology (preferably) and or Science.
• Significant Technical Writer experience: 3-5 years.
• Comfortable in using documentation tools like ClickHelp, Document360 etc.
• Experience working in Cyber-security domain/any other SAAS-based product companies.
• Certificate in Technical Writing Course (added advantage).
• Exposure to SDLC.
• Good writing skills and command over English language
• Adherence to deadlines, daily target related to production and quality
