Our company Navora under the aegis of Maritimesolutionsltd is hiring Technical Superintendent for their client which is a Global Leader in Vessel Management. They Offer full-spectrum maritime solutions with precision-driven services, leveraging technical excellence and a wide product portfolio to enhance efficiency, productivity, and customer experience.
We are looking for a hands-on Technical Superintendent to lead the safe, reliable, and cost-effective management of oil/product tanker fleet. This shore-based role is the critical link between ship and shore—ensuring vessels are always seaworthy, compliant, and operating at peak performance.
Act as the primary technical point of contact for assigned vessels, supporting Masters and Chief Engineers.
• Oversee day-to-day technical and operational matters: maintenance, repairs, spares, stores, surveys, and inspections.
• Plan and supervise dry docking, surveys, and repairs, including budget control and post-docking reports.
• Conduct vessel performance analysis and advise on fuel and lube oil trends.
• Lead incident/accident investigations, implement preventive measures, and close out risk assessments.
• Initiate and oversee Management of Change (MOC) for vessel modifications and new installations.
• Collaborate closely with owners, charterers, surveyors, contractors, and internal teams.
Should have sailed as a Chief Engineer.
• Minimum 1 year experience as Technical Superintendent in Shore.
• Experience in oil Tankers/ Product Tankers.
• Comfortable with Microsoft Office & reporting systems
