Job Description – Accounts Executive

Scribble Scrolls (SS) is a dynamic digital marketing agency specializing in content-first marketing, influencer collaborations, social media strategy, and AI-driven solutions. With a strong client base across industries like F&B, healthcare, education, and lifestyle, we are looking for an  Accounts Executive to streamline our financial processes and support our growth journey.

The  Accounts Executive will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and maintaining compliance with relevant laws. The role also involves working closely with management to track expenses, manage vendor payments, and oversee inventory bundling for projects.

This role requires attention to detail, a proactive mindset, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, creative environment.

Accounting & Bookkeeping
Maintain accurate records of daily financial transactions in Tally/Zoho or other accounting software.
Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely follow-up and reconciliation.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.

Inventory & Bundling Management
Oversee inventory bundling for campaign deliverables and promotional materials.
Coordinate with the operations team to align inventory levels with project requirements.

Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, and other statutory requirements.
Prepare and maintain documentation required for audits and tax filings.
Provide weekly cash flow reports and financial health updates to management.
Identify cost-saving opportunities and streamline expense management.
Support budgeting and forecasting processes.

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (B.Com preferred).
Additional certifications like CA Inter or equivalent will be a plus.

Experience:
~2–4 years of relevant experience in accounting and finance, preferably in a service-based or creative industry.
~ Prior experience handling inventory or project-based accounting is desirable.

Proficiency in Tally, Zoho Books, or similar accounting software.
Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, and compliance processes.
Proficiency in MS Excel and Google Sheets for financial reporting.
