Your Role As a Java Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance, scalable applications using modern Java technologies. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust backend services and integrate with front-end components and databases. In this role, you will: Design and develop scalable backend services using Java 17 and Spring Boot 2.7.x Build and maintain RESTful APIs for seamless integration with front-end applications Work with MongoDB 6 for data modeling, aggregation, and performance optimization Collaborate with front-end developers working on React to ensure seamless integration Utilize JIRA for agile project tracking and Bitbucket for version control and code collaboration Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and CI/CD pipeline implementation Troubleshoot and resolve production issues with a focus on performance and scalability Contribute to architectural decisions and technical documentation Your Profile 6–9 years of experience in Java backend development Strong proficiency in Java 17, Spring Boot 2.7.x, and REST API development Hands-on experience with MongoDB 6 or similar NoSQL databases Familiarity with React and front-end integration Proficient in using JIRA, Bitbucket, and Git-based workflows Understanding of microservices architecture and cloud-native development Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field Excellent problem-solving skills and a passion for clean, maintainable code What You’ll Love About Working Here Flexible work options and a culture that supports work-life balance A diverse and inclusive team environment that values innovation Access to continuous learning and upskilling in modern technologies Opportunities to work on impactful projects with global clients At Capgemini Engineering, the world leader in engineering services, we bring together a global team of engineers, scientists, and architects to help the world’s most innovative companies unleash their potential.
