Position OverviewWe are seeking a skilled Data Science Senior Developer with 5-7 years of experience to join our growing analytics team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Microsoft's data platform ecosystem and will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining data solutions that drive business intelligence and analytics initiatives.Key ResponsibilitiesData Analytics & VisualizationDesign and develop interactive dashboards and reports using Power BICreate compelling data visualizations that translate complex data into actionable business insightsCollaborate with stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and deliver solutions that meet business needsOptimize Power BI performance and implement best practices for data modellingData Platform ManagementDevelop and manage data solutions using Microsoft Fabric for unified analyticsDesign and implement data Lakehouse architectures and manage fabric workspacesUtilize Fabric's capabilities for data engineering, data science, and real-time analyticsData Integration & Pipeline DevelopmentBuild, deploy, and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines using Azure Data Factory (ADF)Design data integration workflows to move and transform data from various sourcesMonitor pipeline performance and troubleshoot data integration issuesImplement data validation and quality checks within pipelinesAutomation & ScriptingDevelop PowerShell scripts for data processing, automation, and system administration tasksAutomate routine data operations and maintenance tasksCreate scripts for data deployment and environment managementData ManagementWork with Microsoft Dataverse to manage and organize business dataDesign and implement data models within DataverseIntegrate Dataverse with other Microsoft ecosystem toolsEnsure data governance and security complianceRequired QualificationsExperience & EducationBachelor’s degree in computer science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field3-5 years of hands-on experience in data science, business intelligence, or data analytics rolesTechnical SkillsPower BI : Advanced proficiency in creating reports, dashboards, DAX calculations, and data modellingMicrosoft Fabric : Experience with Fabric workspaces, data engineering, and analytics capabilitiesAzure Data Factory (ADF) : Strong experience in building and managing data pipelines, data flows, and integration workflowsPowerShell Scripting : Proficiency in writing scripts for automation, data processing, and system managementMicrosoft Dataverse : Experience in data modelling, entity relationships, and integrationAdditional Technical RequirementsStrong SQL skills for data querying and manipulationUnderstanding of data warehousing concepts and dimensional modellingKnowledge of cloud computing principles, preferably Microsoft AzureExperience with version control systems (Git)Familiarity with data governance and security best practicesPreferred Qualifications(Optional)Microsoft certifications (Power BI, Azure Data Engineer, Fabric Analytics Engineer)Experience with Python or R for advanced analyticsKnowledge of machine learning concepts and implementationExperience with Agile/Scrum methodologiesPrevious experience in a similar industry or domainSoft SkillsStrong analytical and problem-solving abilitiesExcellent communication skills with ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholdersDetail-oriented with strong organizational skillsAbility to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneouslyCollaborative mindset and team player attitude
