Job Title: Automation Test Engineer Notice Period: Looking for immediate to 30 days' joiners Experience Required: 8+ Years Job Location: Pune (Hybrid Work Model) Job Summary: We are looking for a seasoned Automation Test Engineer to join our Quality Assurance team. The ideal candidate will have over 8 years of experience in QA automation, with a strong focus on Java, Selenium, and SQL. You will be instrumental in enhancing our automation framework and ensuring the highest quality of our software products. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain robust automated test scripts using Java and Selenium. Collaborate with development and product teams to gather requirements and create detailed test plans. Execute automated tests, analyze outcomes, and report defects efficiently. Utilize SQL for backend validation and data verification. Enhance and optimize existing automation frameworks for improved performance and scalability. Participate in code reviews to ensure best practices in automation and testing. Mentor junior QA engineers on automation testing techniques and tools. Stay updated with the latest testing tools and methodologies to drive continuous improvement. Contribute to the development of a CI/CD pipeline to streamline testing processes. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. 8+ years of experience in software testing and quality assurance. Strong expertise in automation testing tools, particularly Selenium WebDriver. Proficient in Java programming and familiar with Java testing frameworks (e.g., TestNG, JUnit). Solid understanding of SQL for database testing and validation. Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins). Familiarity with Agile methodologies and experience working in Agile teams. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Preferred Skills: Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter). Knowledge of API testing tools (e.g., Postman, RestAssured).
