The role requires expertise in ServiceNow ITOM (Discovery, CMDB, Service Mapping), strong technical knowledge of enterprise infrastructure, and hands-on experience withmulti-cloud visibility(AWS, Azure, GCP, VMware).Required Skills & Experience7+ yearshands-on experience withServiceNow ITOM (Discovery, Cloud Discovery, Service Mapping, CMDB) .Proven expertise withAWS, Azure, GCP, VMware , including APIs, service discovery, and resource modeling.Knowledge ofcontainerized environments(Kubernetes, OpenShift, Docker).Strong understanding ofnetworking, operating systems (Windows, Linux, UNIX), virtualization, storage, and middleware .Familiarity withprotocols(SNMP, WMI, SSH, REST, SOAP, JDBC).Solid understanding ofCSDM, CMDB design, and service dependency mapping .Scripting experience (JavaScript, PowerShell, Python) for automation/customization.Strong problem-solving and cross-team collaboration skills.Preferred QualificationsServiceNowCertified Implementation Specialist – Discovery & Service Mapping .ServiceNowITOM Visibility certification .Cloud certifications (AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Administrator, GCP Cloud Engineer).Exposure toFinOps, Cloud Governance, and Security Operations .Key ResponsibilitiesLead the deployment, configuration, and maintenance ofServiceNow Discoveryacrossdata centers, private cloud, and public cloudplatforms.Configure and maintainCloud Discoveryintegrations for AWS, Azure, GCP, VMware, and Kubernetes.Develop and optimizeDiscovery Patterns, Probes, and Sensorsto ensure comprehensive coverage of hybrid IT.ManageMID Serversfor both on-prem and cloud environments, ensuring secure, scalable communication.Integrate Discovery outputs withCMDB, Service Mapping, Event Management, and Cloud Management modules .Define and maintaincredentials & API integrations(IAM roles, service accounts, OAuth) for cloud providers.EnsureCMDB accuracy, completeness, and relationship mappingfor cloud-native and traditional infrastructure.Troubleshoot and resolve Discovery issues acrossnetwork, VM, and cloud-native services .Collaborate with CloudOps, Infrastructure, and Security teams to align Discovery with cloud governance and FinOps.Document processes, patterns, andbest practices for hybrid-cloud CMDB management .
