About the Role:

Anglepoint is expanding our global team and looking for IBM licensing professionals located in India. Anglepoint is currently in need of individuals experienced with IBM licensing policies, practices, and products to help drive business decisions for our Fortune 500 clients. The ideal candidate will have licensing, audit, or consulting experience with IBM products and services.

As an IBM Consultant:

  • Plan and perform software asset management, software license, and other reviews for Anglepoint’s clients to ensure compliance with associated software licenses/other agreements, contractual terms, and general licensing policies.
  • Demonstrate an in-depth understanding of how IBM products are licensed.
  • Lead software licensing reviews for medium to large clients & create client-facing deliverables.
  • Understand how a solution fits into a client’s business and drives value.
  • Perform risk assessments and analysis of complex licensing agreements.
  • Identify opportunities for clients to optimize licensing and reduce costs.
  • Provide timely and useful feedback to our clients that can enhance future relationships and activities.


Who you are:

  • Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of IBM licensing experience, performing audits/baselines.
  • Experience with a SAM Tool such as Flexera/ILMT, SNOW, ServiceNow or USU.
  • Strong client presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical, research, organizational, issue identification, prioritization, resolution, and report writing skills.
  • Responsible, accountable, & proactive self-starter and self-learner.
  • Results-oriented and success-driven. Excellent attention to detail.
  • Flexible & adaptable in a dynamic team environment.
  • Travel both domestically and internationally, up to 10%


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with SAM, system management, and/or inventory tools (e.g., MAP, SCCM, FNMP, etc.)
  • Familiarity with various IT management/governance frameworks such as ITIL, MOF, COBIT, etc.
  • One or more of the following certifications: CISA; CISM; CISSP; CIA; PMP; CSAM, CITAM
