Parttime Engineer

In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for bringing up early hardware prototypes, validating power and signal integrity, and automating hardware test workflows. Your scripting expertise will help streamline diagnostics and accelerate platform readiness for firmware and system teams.

Perform bring-up and validation of prototype hardware platforms (server boards, compute modules, embedded systems).

Validate power rails, clocks, reset logic, and high-speed interfaces (PCIe, DDR, USB, Ethernet) using lab instruments and software tools.

Automate board-level tests, diagnostics, and validation routines using Python and Shell scripts.

Work with electrical and system engineers to debug and resolve hardware issues.

Support thermal, stress, and power testing in collaboration with validation and reliability teams.

Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.

~3–7+ years of experience in hardware bring-up, validation, or embedded system debug.

~ Proficient in Python and Shell scripting for test automation, logging, and diagnostics.

~ Strong hands-on experience with lab tools: oscilloscopes, multimeters, logic analyzers, I2C/SPI analyzers, and power measurement equipment.

~ Experience working with server hardware, embedded platforms, or custom SoC-based designs.
