Job Title: Assistant Manager Operations (B2 B) Location: Mumbai Department: E-commerce Reports to: Head of E-commerce Job Summary : We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented professional to join our E-Commerce team as an Assistant Manager - Operations (B2 B) . The role requires managing and streamlining B2 B operations, ensuring timely delivery of products, maintaining accurate records, and enhancing customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operations, a proactive mindset, and experience in handling B2 B processes within the E-Commerce domain. Key Responsibilities : Order Processing & Fulfillment : Manage the end-to-end B2 B order processing lifecycle, from order receipt to final delivery. Coordinate with the supply chain, warehouse, and logistics teams to ensure timely order dispatch and delivery. 2. Client Relationship Management : Serve as the point of contact for B2 B clients, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and maintaining long-term relationships. Provide periodic updates to clients regarding order status and deliveries. 3. Inventory Management : Work closely with the inventory team to ensure product availability for B2 B orders. Monitor stock levels and coordinate replenishment with the procurement team as needed. 4. Data Analysis & Reporting : Analyze operational data to identify bottlenecks and recommend improvements. Prepare and present regular operational performance reports to management. 5. Process Optimization : Continuously evaluate and improve B2 B operations processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy. Implement automation tools or systems wherever applicable to streamline workflows. 6. Compliance & Documentation : Ensure adherence to company policies, quality standards, and compliance requirements in all B2 B transactions. Maintain accurate documentation for contracts, invoices, and related operations records. 7. Cross-Functional Coordination : Collaborate with the sales, finance, and product teams to align operations with business objectives. Support the marketing team in planning and executing promotional activities for B2 B clients. Key Skills & Competencies : Strong understanding of B2 B operations and E-Commerce processes. Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities. Proficiency in ERP systems, MS Office (Excel, Word, Power Point), and other operational tools. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. Problem-solving mindset and ability to handle escalations effectively. Educational Qualifications & Experience : Education : Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Operations, or related field. MBA/PGDM is a plus. Experience : 3-5 years of experience in operations, preferably in a B2 B E-Commerce setup or related field.
