Inviting applications for the role of Assistant Manager/Management Trainee/Domain Trainee (Linguist), Underwriting Operations (P&C)

Responsibilities

* Manage teams of 5-10 and service level targets. Providing guidance to direct reports.

* Monitor, analyses and report on trends in the key underwriting performance drivers.

* Leading weekly/monthly/quarterly discussions on operations with client UW and company stakeholders.

* Understanding of risks faced by the function and the controls in place to manage and mitigate the risks

* Ensuring clarity around priorities and goals for the entire functional area

* Ability to function effectively in a team environment exercising good judgment

* Working with senior management and other peers for strategy development and execution planning

* Guiding the talent identification and development processes for a function.

* Root Cause Analysis on escalations received

* Very good problem solving skills & attention to detail.

* Ability to accurately interpret and compile information from a variety of sources and systems

* Ability to function effectively in a team environment exercising good judgment

* Ability to meet outlined and expected standards of timeliness and accuracy in completion of work

Qualifications we seek in you

Minimum Qualifications

* Any Graduate

* B1/B2 proficiency in Spanish language

* Fluent in English language - both Written and Oral

* Communication - Good Written and spoken Communication Skills

* Good knowledge of MS Office specifically MS Excel

* Graduate in any stream except Technical

Preferred Qualifications/ Skills

* Ability to own report development effort with minimal supervision.

* Problem solving; data related troubleshooting such as identifying reconciliation variances, or determining cause of data anomalies.

* Intermediate skills in MS Excel

* Be able to prioritize based on due dates and task demands.
