Position Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Finance Controller to join our India team. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience in accounting and audit, a Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification, and a strong understanding of the logistics and supply chain industry. This role is pivotal in driving financial strategy and ensuring the financial health of our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate financial statements, reports, and forecasts in compliance with regulations and company policies.
  • Budgeting & Forecasting: Lead the annual budgeting process and provide regular financial forecasts to support business decisions.
  • Audit & Compliance: Oversee internal and external audit processes, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
  • Cost Management: Analyze costs and implement strategies to optimize operational efficiency and profitability.
  • Financial Analysis: Provide insights and recommendations based on financial analysis to support strategic decision-making.
  • Team Leadership: Manage and mentor the finance team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
  • Cash Flow Management: Monitor cash flow and working capital, ensuring liquidity and financial stability.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with other departments, including operations and logistics, to align financial goals with business objectives.
  • Tax Compliance: Ensure timely and accurate filing of taxes and adherence to tax regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Education: CA (Chartered Accountant) qualification.
  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in accounting and audit, preferably within the logistics and supply chain sector.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in financial software and ERP systems; strong Excel skills.
  • Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with a keen attention to detail.
  • Communication: Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present financial information clearly.
  • Leadership: Proven experience in managing a finance team and driving performance.
