About this role:

We are seeking a skilled developer to build and maintain our core backend systems. As a key member of the team, you will play a critical part in driving product development and ensuring smooth execution from concept to launch.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain scalable backend systems for user authentication, payments, and subscriptions using PHP and Laravel. Design and manage APIs to power frontend, mobile apps, and third-party integrations.
  • Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code to support a reliable SaaS product. Debug and optimize existing systems to enhance performance and handle scale.
  • Collaborate with the cross-functional team to deliver customer-focused solutions. Actively contribute to discussions around product features and technical approaches.
  • Maintain secure and stable backend systems. Identify opportunities to enhance system capabilities or improve processes.

Required Qualifications:

  • 1-2 years of backend development experience, preferably in a SaaS startup or small team environment.
  • Proficiency in PHP and Laravel for backend development. Strong knowledge of MySQL for managing complex databases.
  • A startup mentality: adaptable, proactive, and willing to take ownership of tasks. Customer-focused approach with a strong problem-solving mindset.
