Data Engineering Professional

We are seeking a seasoned Data Engineer to join our team, responsible for maintaining architecture principles, guidelines, and standards.

About the Role:

  • Maintain strong skills in data warehousing, big data, and data analytics.
  • Develop software code in one or more languages such as Java and Python.
  • Work with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) data components such as Big Query, Bigtable, Cloud SQL, Dataproc, Data Flow, Data Fusion, etc.
  • Demonstrate extensive skills and success in the implementation of technology projects within a professional environment, with a particular focus on data engineering.
  • Hands-on experience with data projects in cloud environments specifically GCP.
  • Sound knowledge of data-related concepts.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience and knowledge of massively parallel processing (MPP) systems, database systems, extract-transform-load (ETL), and extract-load-transform (ELT) systems, and data flow compute.
  • Ability to advise on the best-of-breed solutions for clients.
  • Coaching junior data engineering personnel to improve their understanding of the overall data ecosystem.
  • Prior experience developing, building, and deploying on GCP.
  • Working on solution decks, IP builds, client meetings for requirement gathering.
