Job Description: Chief Manager

The successful candidate will lead and manage our legal team, providing guidance, support, and performance monitoring to ensure alignment with company goals and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle all legal and regulatory matters, including drafting legal responses and notices on behalf of the company.
  • Oversee contract management for Outsourcing of Financial Services and IT outsourcing, as well as IT Governance Framework.
  • Manage fundraising documents such as term loans, debentures, preference shares, etc.
  • Draft, vet, and execute loan and other agreements, MoUs, NDAs, and other legal documents in compliance with RBI guidelines.
  • Conduct legal and regulatory due diligence, and oversee opinion writing, litigation proceedings, and related support.
  • Liaise with Law Enforcement Agencies and respond to queries received from their office.
  • Manage customer escalations and grievances raised by customers through statutory bodies, RBI, by drafting suitable responses.
  • Liaise with the Registrar of Companies, NCLT, or other relevant authorities regarding notices, approvals, or communications.
  • Coordinate with banks on a regular basis to execute necessary funding documents for new and existing financial facilities.
  • Ensure compliance with Company Law, RBI compliances, and other relevant acts, rules, and guidelines applicable to the company and its group companies.
  • Develop and implement strategies for legal risk management and mitigation.
  • Foster a collaborative environment within the legal team and with other departments to ensure seamless legal support across the organization.
Requirements

Qualification: CS/LLB

Experience: 10 to 15 years

Preferred Qualifications: NBFC/Banking compliances and legal background
