Job Description:

We seek an experienced and passionate mathematics educator to lead our mathematics department. The ideal candidate will oversee the delivery of high-quality mathematics education in line with CBSE standards, fostering students' mathematical understanding and preparing them for higher education and professional opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leadership and Management:
    • Lead the mathematics department, guiding and supporting teachers to ensure top-notch teaching standards.
    • Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance the mathematics curriculum and student outcomes.
  • Curriculum Delivery:
    • Oversee the planning and implementation of engaging and effective mathematics lessons.
    • Ensure the curriculum remains up-to-date and aligned with CBSE standards.
  • Lesson Planning:
    • Develop structured and comprehensive lesson plans that cater to diverse learning needs.
    • Review and approve lesson plans prepared by other mathematics educators.
  • Student Assessment:
    • Evaluate students' progress, provide constructive feedback, and maintain accurate academic records.
    • Develop and implement assessment strategies to track student performance.
  • Classroom Management:
    • Enforce school policies and disciplinary systems, promoting a positive learning environment.
    • Support colleagues in managing classroom discipline and creating an optimal learning atmosphere.
  • Parental Communication:
    • Maintain open and regular communication with students, colleagues, and parents regarding student progress.
    • Participate in parent-teacher meetings and school events to foster a collaborative school community.
  • Professional Development:
    • Engage in continuous professional development and stay updated with the latest educational trends.
    • Organize and lead professional development sessions for the mathematics department.
Qualifications:

The ideal candidate should possess the following qualifications:

  • Founder Level:
    • 1-3 years of experience with a postgraduate degree in mathematics and B.Ed., responsible for delivering mathematics content across different grade levels.
  • Master Level:
    • 4-8 years of experience in advanced studies with a postgraduate degree in mathematics and B.Ed., with a deep understanding of mathematical concepts.
  • Developer Level:
    • 9+ years of experience, a postgraduate degree in mathematics with B.Ed or M.Ed, with specialized skills in curriculum development and leadership in the mathematics department.
