Job Title: Cybersecurity Operations Specialist

The role of the Cybersecurity Operations Specialist is to safeguard enterprise infrastructure by implementing, configuring, and maintaining monitoring tools across on-prem data centers and hybrid cloud environments. Key responsibilities include working closely with security, network, server, and cloud teams to strengthen overall IT infrastructure posture and align tool deployments with organizational policies.

  • Implement Monitoring Tools: Deploy and manage enterprise monitoring platforms such as SolarWinds, Grafana, and NTT data for proactive visibility and alerting.
  • Collaborate with Teams: Work closely with cross-functional teams to implement server/network baselines, access controls, and integrations with security platforms.
  • Vulnerability Scanning: Assist in implementing vulnerability scanning tools such as Qualys, Nessus, and Rapid7 and coordinate with teams for patch compliance.
  • PAM Implementation: Implement and maintain Privileged Access Management (PAM) tools such as CyberArk for critical server and network infrastructure.
  • Antivirus/EDR Solutions: Configure and manage enterprise Antivirus/Endpoint Protection solutions and integrate with monitoring dashboards.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree: Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
  • Hands-on Experience: 6-10 years of hands-on experience in IT infrastructure (servers, networks, storage) with a focus on tool implementation and monitoring.
  • Cybersecurity Certifications: Practical exposure to CyberArk PAM deployments, enterprise antivirus/endpoint protection platforms, and integration with DC and server environments.
  • Vulnerability Scanning: Hands-on experience with vulnerability scanning platforms (Qualys, Nessus, Rapid7) and remediation workflows.
  • Scripting/Automation: Scripting/automation skills in PowerShell, Python, or Ansible for tool deployment and reporting automation.
