Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement complex SQL queries and stored procedures to optimize database performance
  • Migrate database structures and data from Oracle to Postgres SQL using GCP Data Migration Service
  • Work on tuning autovacuum in PostgreSQL and Alloy DB for better performance
  • Develop and maintain Big Query, Fire Store, Memory Store, Spanner, and bare metal setup for PostgreSQL
  • Tune Alloy DB and Cloud SQL databases for optimal performance
  • Experience with MongoDB, Cloud Dataflow, Database Disaster Recovery, Job Scheduling, and logging techniques
  • Possess knowledge of OLTP and OLAP systems
Desirable Skills
  • GCP Database Engineer Certification
  • Out-of-the-box thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Able to make technical choices (build vs buy) and manage performance
  • Enterprise Architecture project management and delivery capabilities
  • Leadership skills and other soft skills such as learning ability and innovative spirit
