**Job Opportunity: Senior Backend Developer**

We are seeking a seasoned backend expert to join our team at CARD91, a leading Issuance Platform-as-a-Service provider. As a senior member of our backend team, you will design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs and backend services using Java, collaborating closely with product managers, frontend developers, and QA teams to deliver robust solutions.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Design, develop, and maintain high-quality code for our core issuance and processing system, which is built using Java and the Spring Boot framework.
  • Collaborate with the team to deliver scalable, secure, and reliable solutions that meet the needs of our customers.
  • Optimize application performance, ensuring scalability and reliability.
  • Work with databases (SQL/NoSQL) to design efficient schemas and manage data flow.
  • Implement security best practices to protect sensitive financial data.

**Requirements:**

  • 3-4 years of Java experience.
  • Mastery of Java 8 and above, as well as Spring Boot, Hibernate, and RESTful services.
  • Strong experience with SQL (Postgres, MySQL) and NoSQL technologies (Cassandra, Redis).
  • Experience with distributed caching solutions (Redis/Memcached/HazelCast).
  • Strong knowledge of algorithms, data structures, and design patterns.
  • Understanding of Microservices architecture, standard Queueing mechanisms, Caching mechanisms, System Design, and Database Schema Design.
  • Proactive attitude, ability to work in small groups, and a strong commitment to continuous improvement.
