Job Title

We are seeking a seasoned Infrastructure Operations Specialist to join our team.

Job Description

This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver software solutions from development to production. You will be responsible for setting up and managing various software configuration management environments, build processes, and ensuring zero downtime for utilities.

You will also provide mentorship and training to development teams on compilation, packaging, and software configuration management tools throughout the product lifecycle.

Additionally, you will optimize build processes by implementing new tools and improving existing ones, identify and resolve build errors, and configure third-party software in supported environments.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
  • Total Experience: 6 to 8 years
  • Required: 2+ years of experience in Capacity Planning, FinOps, and Capacity Management
  • Strong experience in scripting languages (Python, Bash, Perl), SQL queries, Influx, Grafana, PostgreSQL
  • Strong experience in Advanced Excel
  • Proficient in mathematical skills: Basic statistical models (e.g., Gaussian distribution: Normal distribution), terms (median, standard deviation, etc.)
  • Good hands-on experience with computing resources and knowledge of hardware and software requirements in production environments
  • 2+ years of experience in programming
  • Desired: Data Center Experience
  • Excellent communication/presentation skills and analytical skills
