Hydraulic Systems Lead

A seasoned professional is required to oversee the design, installation and maintenance of complex hydraulic systems.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop comprehensive designs for hose/tube & mounting bracket systems using advanced software tools.
  • Formulate hydraulic component placement strategies, optimize system integration and troubleshoot schematics to ensure maximum efficiency.
  • Support prototype development, on-machine testing and validation of hydraulic components, applying sound engineering principles and calculations.
  • Conduct in-depth analysis of bolted joint performance and finite element simulations (FEA) using Creo Simulate or equivalent software.
  • Apply industry-standard quality management practices, including APQP, GD&T and BOM management, to drive product excellence.
  • Collaborate with global teams and suppliers to support new product introductions and aftermarket requirements, fostering effective communication and cooperation.
Requirements:
  • Extensive hands-on experience in designing and implementing hydraulic systems and components.
  • Proficiency in advanced CAD software, particularly Creo, and a thorough understanding of hydraulic schematics.
  • Strong knowledge of material properties, hose fittings and manufacturing processes.
  • Superior analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to apply creative solutions to complex challenges.
