Technical Lead Job Description">

This role is responsible for leading the development of cloud-based applications and infrastructure, as well as guiding teams in designing architectures and creating PoCs. The ideal candidate will have experience managing high-performance software engineering teams and have a strong technical background.

The Technical Lead will be responsible for:

  1. Developing and implementing solutions that meet customer needs and expectations
  2. Leading cross-team development efforts, identifying dependencies and resolving impediments encountered by other engineers
  3. Reviewing work items to estimate and assist junior engineers in creating design solutions
  4. Making necessary database changes to support ongoing development tasks
  5. Building quality into all tasks, ensuring adequate unit testing and supporting quality assurance engineers in testing completed items

Qualifications include:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience
  • 12+ years' experience designing and developing SaaS web applications using .Net/C# stack, preferably in a product development organization
  • 3+ years of team management experience
  • 5+ years' experience with database technologies – SQL, Entity Framework
  • 3+ years' experience with cloud technologies (Azure/AWS)
  • Ability to mentor all levels of engineers in best practices
  • Experience developing RESTful APIs
  • Experience designing and developing responsive UI applications using Angular/AngularJS
  • Experience with Unit Testing and Mocking frameworks and concepts
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies
  • Experience with GIT
  • Strong communication skills – written and verbal
  • Strong collaboration skills – experience working in a small-team environment
