Job Title: Experienced Naval Design Specialist

As a skilled Naval Architect, you will play a pivotal role in the development and validation of vessel designs. Your expertise will be crucial in preparing heavy lift vessel models, conducting stability analyses, and ensuring compliance with class rules and IMO regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Performing stability calculations using software
  • Preparation of models for heavy lift vessels and deck carriers.
  • Evaluating results and preparation of calculation reports.
  • Quality assurance of the model, calculation, and project documentation.
  • Supporting concept design development projects.
  • Training/guiding colleagues in performing their tasks, reviewing reports, and developing hydrostatics skills.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in Naval Architecture
  • 5+ years of experience in ship design and hydrostatic calculations
  • Expertise in stability software.
  • Excellent fundamentals in hydrostatics & naval architecture
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, passion for technology, and willingness to share knowledge.
  • Understanding and working knowledge of AutoCAD 2D
  • Familiarity with Class rules and IMO Regulations
