Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop automated scripts in Python to build and simulate a Golden Model within SQL Server.
  • Create and validate synthetic test data using appropriate Python-based frameworks.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data requirements and ensure adequate test coverage.
  • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous delivery.
  • Identify, track, and document data-related defects and inconsistencies.
  • Contribute to the design of reusable SQL-based test frameworks and strategies.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Strong hands-on experience in test automation, with a focus on data validation and transformation logic.
  • Proficiency in Python, particularly in at least one of the following synthetic data generation frameworks: YData-Synthetic, SDV (Synthetic Data Vault), Gretel-Synthetics, SynthCity, DoppelGANger.
  • Solid understanding of relational databases and data warehousing concepts.
  • Experience in CI/CD environments and integrating test scripts into automated pipelines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with GE Plant Applications.
  • Familiarity with MS SQL Server.
