System Support Specialist

As a System Support Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our infrastructure. Your responsibilities will include:

">
  • Monitoring the server parameters, such as CPU, Memory, Hard disk size, Log size, and other vital metrics on a regular schedule.
  • Reporting any performance issues to the relevant teams if they exceed established thresholds.
  • Monitoring scheduled tasks on the system and verifying their successful completion.
  • Re-running failed tasks and reporting technical errors to the L2/L3 teams for resolution.
  • Staying up-to-date with new items/tickets through the Email, Teams channel, and Ticketing system, and updating these accordingly.
  • Gathering additional details from business/end-user or other teams as required.
  • Reproducing issues in the testing environment and providing inputs to the L2 team member.
  • Validating issue fixes in the internal testing environment based on customer inputs.

Required Skills and Qualifications

">
  • A minimum of 3+ years of customer-facing experience is essential.
  • At least 3 years of experience in managing application or infrastructure support at the L1 level.
  • SailPoint or IAM system support experience is highly desirable.
  • Ability to provide both oral and written responses to customers within defined SLA deadlines.
  • Experience in handling customer-related queries on system functionality and providing required support.
  • Proven track record in doing customer-issue-based validation.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills are a must.
  • Technical background in Java or Scripting is an added advantage.
