Project Coordinator Role Overview

  • We are seeking a skilled and experienced project coordinator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the effective and efficient execution of assigned projects.
  • This includes preparation of project plans, contingency plans, management of resources (time, money and people) and stakeholders (customer, vendors, internal customers).
  • Frequent interaction and discussions with project implementation status to ensure timely completion and delivery within stipulated timelines.
  • Regular communication and resolution of issues with vendors and contractors.
  • Ensuring project expenses are within budgeted costs.
Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop strong relationships with customers and ensure on-time delivery of projects in coordination with operations and planning teams.
  2. Serve as single point of contact for all customer communications regarding delivery and services.
  3. Manage and motivate the team to achieve their full potential and align with departmental goals.
  4. Conduct contract reviews for all POs received from customers with cross-functional teams and track actions for closure.
  5. Escalate issues promptly to prevent risk of delivery failure to operations and planning teams.
  6. Communicate project status and any issues to customers in advance.
  7. Submit sales reports to management for regular reviews.
  8. Review progress with engineering teams for new product development.
  9. Ensure smooth flow of requirements and updates from customers to operations and planning teams.
  10. Foster strong relationships with internal stakeholders and suppliers.
  11. Track and follow up with customers for timely payment.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 10-15 years' experience in aerospace or auto industry.
  • Desirable: Program management experience and PMP certification.
  • Strong people management and teamwork skills.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Preferrable: Knowledge of SAP.
