We are seeking a highly skilled Senior AWS Glue Developer to support the data ingestion and transformation process using serverless and AWS services.

Data Ingestion and Transformation
  • This role requires an expert who can leverage AWS Glue to simplify our data pipeline and improve data quality by adopting ELT (Extract Load Transform) from ETL (Extract Transform Load).
  • The ideal candidate will design metadata-driven integration solutions for rapid onboarding of new systems, enabling us to deliver high-quality data operations more efficiently.
Metadata-Driven Integration Design
  • A successful candidate will develop metadata-driven integration designs that align with industry best practices, allowing us to achieve accurate and timely data insights.
  • This approach enables rapid onboarding of new systems, reducing complexity and improving overall efficiency.
DataOps Way of Delivery
  • We aim to introduce DBT (Data Build Tool) alongside AWS Glue to move towards a true DataOps way of delivery, ensuring precise and timely data insights.
  • This collaborative approach fosters a culture of innovation and expertise in data operations.

Key skills required for this position include:

  • Expertise in AWS Glue, including data ingestion and transformation.
  • Ability to design and implement metadata-driven integration solutions.
  • Experience with ELT (Extract Load Transform) and its benefits over ETL (Extract Transform Load).
  • Familiarity with DBT (Data Build Tool) and its application in DataOps.
