Product Control Leader

As a key member of our team, we are seeking an experienced AVP & Manager to lead the Product Control function. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in financing and credit products, with excellent US GAAP accounting skills for complex transactions and BASEL 3 rules and regulations.
Job DescriptionThe successful candidate will be responsible for timely and accurate calculation, verification, reporting of daily and month-end reporting. They will also ensure accurate accounting in line with US GAAP/IFRS and necessary adjustments where required.
Key Responsibilities- Accurate P&L Attribution and Hypo submissions for daily P&L
- Booking of Trades into correct Trading/Banking books in line with FRTB requirements
- Critical reviews of P&L and Balance Sheet highlighting significant items to onshore teams
The successful candidate will possess:
- At least 5 years' experience in Product Control with strong technical knowledge of Financing/Credit products and US GAAP accounting skills for complex transactions and BASEL 3 rules and regulations
- Proven self-starter showing initiative to address issues as they arise, confidence in analyzing and presenting complex financial data, and excellent communication skills for effective interaction with senior stakeholders
