As a Disaster Recovery and Orchestration Specialist, you'll join an elite team providing exceptional technical assistance, enabling clients to achieve their desired business outcomes. You'll be a troubleshooter extraordinaire, diagnosing and repairing complex equipment, software, and systems with ease.
You'll be responsible for organizing and conducting regular disaster recovery drills and tests to validate the effectiveness of the recovery plan and identify areas for improvement. Continuously monitor systems for potential signs of disaster or impending failures and respond and coordinate incident response efforts in the event of a disaster or disruptive event.
The estimated salary range for this position is $80,000 - $120,000 per year, based on industry standards and location. However, we do not disclose our internal budget for salaries.
This role requires 2-5 years of experience in Customer Service or Technical Support, as well as expertise in Disaster Recovery Management and DR tools, Linux, and various database systems (Oracle/MySQL). You'll need strong understanding of data protection concepts, including backup and recovery, BCP/DR, storage replication, and database native replications.
You should have hands-on experience with standalone and clustered UNIX platforms (AIX/Solaris/HPUX/RHEL/etc.) and Windows platforms. Familiarity with TCL/Shell/Batch/PowerShell/Expect scripts and the ability to write scripts integrating with different technologies using CLI's/API's is essential. Additionally, you'll design and architect LLD and HLD implementations.
Bachelor's Degree is preferred, but not required. Application testing experience may be beneficial, as well as overall IT infrastructure understanding and Cyber (IT) Security experience.
