CPU Microprocessor Architectural Specialist

As a CPU Verification Engineer, you will be responsible for verifying the functionality of CPU cores and subsystems.
Our ideal candidate has strong hands-on experience with SystemVerilog and UVM methodology, as well as a deep understanding of CPU microarchitecture.
We are seeking an experienced professional to develop scalable testbenches, drive complex test scenarios, and ensure full functional coverage and quality sign-off.
The role involves developing and maintaining UVM-based testbenches for verifying CPU cores and subsystems, writing directed and random test cases to verify micro architectural features, driving functional and code coverage closure, debugging failures using waveform tools, logs, and simulation dumps, collaborating with architecture, RTL design, performance, and formal verification teams, defining and implementing verification plans, test strategies, and regressions, participating in specification reviews, microarchitecture discussions, and design quality assessments, and supporting post-silicon validation and bring-up teams when needed.
We require strong hands-on experience with SystemVerilog and UVM methodology, a deep understanding of CPU microarchitecture, expertise in RTL simulation and debugging tools, familiarity with scripting languages like Python, Perl, or shell for automation, good knowledge of functional coverage and assertion-based verification, exposure to cache coherency, virtual memory systems, or multi-core architectures is a plus, and experience with formal verification, emulation, or post-silicon debug is a bonus.
