As a Demand Forecasting Analyst at Algonomy, you will play a critical role in supporting our Forecast & Replenishment product delivery team. Your primary responsibility will be to analyze demand forecasts, inventory levels, and supply plans to drive ROI for the retailers.
Key responsibilities include solution implementation, requirement gathering, configuration and customization, data analysis, stakeholder collaboration, training and support, and continuous improvement. To succeed in this role, you should have strong expertise in supply planning, demand forecasting, and replenishment strategies, as well as hands-on experience in Grocery Retail or Delivering Supply Chain solutions.
- Solution Implementation: Implement supply planning and replenishment solutions for clients.
- Requirement Gathering: Gather requirements from clients to understand their supply chain needs.
- Configuration & Customization: Configure the product based on business requirements and recommend necessary customizations.
- Data Analysis: Analyze demand forecasts, inventory levels, and supply plans to drive ROI for the retailers.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure smooth implementation and adoption.
- Training & Support: Provide user training sessions and post-implementation support.
- Continuous Improvement: Monitor performance, identify gaps, and suggest enhancements to optimize the solution.
Required skills and qualifications include 2-4 years of experience in supply planning, demand forecasting, or replenishment, industry knowledge in Retail, FMCG, or supply chain domain expertise, technical skills in supply chain planning tools (e.g., SAP IBP, Blue Yonder, Oracle, Kinaxis, etc.), analytical abilities in data analysis and problem-solving using Excel/Python/SQL, project management skills to manage multiple implementations and deliver within timelines, and strong communication skills for client interactions.
