The Role Matters

The Platform Engineering Team is responsible for providing an industry-leading PaaS internal development platform, critical to the success of our technology teams and the simplification & standardization of our infrastructure. We partner with Ericsson to define new products and services that will power networks around the world.

Responsibilities
  • Lead a team in the development and management of the internal developer platform.
  • Embody our culture and lead by example.
  • Participate in architecture discussions to ensure we provide the best solutions to technical challenges.
  • Maintain the platform in development and production environments.
  • Manage on-call rotation for your team.
  • Expand and manage the team through hiring and coaching.
  • Ensure alignment with teams hosted within the PaaS platform use resources in cost-effective methods.
  • Manage performance of highly skilled engineers.


Requirements
  • 3+ years leading platform engineering, DevOps or SRE teams.
  • Proven experience managing Staff+ level engineers.
  • Experience managing remote-first autonomous teams.
  • Expertise maintaining a Kubernetes-based platform with CNCF tooling.
  • Significant experience working within the AWS environment.
  • Understanding of DevSecOps processes.
  • Leadership skills and ability to develop and grow your team.
  • Results-driven mindset and approach.
  • A customer-focused approach and flexibility to succeed in a fast-paced environment.
