Compliance Officer Role:

As a key professional in our organization, you will play a vital role in ensuring all regulatory submissions are timely and accurately uploaded to the IRDA portal. You will work closely with relevant stakeholders to achieve this goal.

  • Ensure timely submission of regulations, including new business submissions, schedules submissions, SP submissions, complaints submissions, financial statements submissions, and compliance certificates as applicable.
  • Maintain regulatory registers in an appropriate format and submit them to IRDAI within stipulated timelines.
  • Communicate with regulators as per regulations, including branch opened & closed data, directorship change, and regulatory charges levied.
  • Update the IIB Envoy Portal with salesperson and SP details, track, and review them periodically.
  • Ensure all applicable licenses are availed, procured, and renewed with applicable timelines as per guidelines.
  • Issue NOC for exited SPs and detag PAN from IRDA & Envoy along with record keeping.
  • Apply for telemarketing license as per guidelines and submit regulatory data to IRDAI as per stipulated guidelines.
  • Track and renew IRDAI CA license, PO, ISNP, Envoy, and any other licenses.
  • Maintain a regulatory checklist, including IRDAI data maintenance, registers, timely submissions, grievances, etc.
  • Coordinate with finance, product teams, and insurers for reconciliation sign off every month.
  • Maintain agreements of insurers, SLAs of insurers, commission structure of insurers, and track grievances from grievance team, insurers, and coordinate resolution with insurers, business, product, and branch team.
  • Provide audit checklists and coordinate with functional audit teams to track audit resolution for branches.
  • Provide compliance checks on AML and coordinate and track AML cases with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Bookkeep litigation of insurance cases, open cases, and update the regulator as needed.

Required Experience: 4-8 years in a similar domain.
