Job Title: Data Validation Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented professional to join our team as a Data Validation Specialist. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in data validation, data processing, and testing.

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated and manual test cases for data validation and transformation processes. They will also validate data integrity across various sources, including APIs, databases.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and execute automated and manual test cases for data validation and transformation processes.
  • Validate data integrity across various sources, including APIs, databases.
  • Collaborate with data engineers and developers to understand data flows and ensure quality across the pipeline.
  • Develop Python scripts using Pandas for data comparison, profiling, and anomaly detection.
  • Test data against RESTful APIs for correctness, performance, and reliability.
  • Create and maintain test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test reports.

Required Skills:

  • Strong proficiency in Python and Pandas for data manipulation and testing.
  • Hands-on experience using tools like Postman, Pytest, or similar.
  • Experience with data validation, data profiling, and data quality frameworks.
  • Familiarity with MongoDB and NoSQL data models is a plus.
  • Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
