Key Responsibilities:
1. Test Planning and Execution: Develop comprehensive test plans, execute manual test cases based on business requirements, and identify defects using a bug-tracking system.
2. Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with development, product management, and support teams to ensure proper documentation, reproduction steps, and timely resolution of issues.
3. Test Reporting and Feedback: Provide detailed feedback on test results, including summary reports of test progress and defects, to stakeholders.
4. Regression Testing: Perform regression testing to ensure new changes do not negatively impact existing features.
5. Skill Development and Improvement: Stay updated with industry trends, technologies, and methodologies, applying them to enhance the QA process and contribute to the company's growth.
Requirements:
· Educational Background: A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
· Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to think critically, troubleshoot issues independently or collaboratively, and apply analytical skills to resolve complex problems.
· Familiarity with Tools: Experience or familiarity with bug-tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Bugzilla) and test management tools is advantageous.
· Operating Systems: Familiarity with different operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux) and mobile platforms (iOS, Android).
Estimated Salary Range: ₹800,000 - ₹1,200,000 per annum
