Surgical Coder

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Coding Professional to join our team. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for accurately assigning medical codes to surgical procedures.

• Apply medical coding principles to ensure accurate and consistent code assignment.
• Develop and maintain knowledge of medical coding guidelines and updates.
• Collaborate with clinical staff to resolve coding discrepancies and improve coding accuracy.
• Provide training and support to other coders on best practices in medical coding.

• Minimum 3 years of experience in medical coding or a related field.
• Proficiency in CPC, COC, or other AAPC/AHIMA coding certification.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
