As a member of a larger Deloitte Operations team, you'll work on various activities such as assisting clients in understanding operational capabilities, assessing merger synergies, and providing a coherent overview of business operations.

  • Assist private equity, corporate, and banking clients in maximizing value from investments and lending transactions
  • Work with Corporate and Private Equity clients to assess potential merger synergies and carve-outs
  • Collaborate with colleagues from Financial Advisory, Consulting, and the broader Deloitte network to provide clients with a comprehensive understanding of business operations
  • Develop a broader perspective on issues encountered when operating within diverse teams and strategies to overcome them
  • Understand the firm's commitment to creating a more inclusive culture
  • Prepare quality deliverables within agreed timelines
  • Support Deloitte member firms' Operational DD practice
  • Develop and analyze cost models of varying complexities for international entities
  • Analyze and interpret financial and accounting data
  • Liaise with engagement team members in UK, Canada, and Europe as required
  • Add value to complex and high-profile projects by working towards tight deadlines
Required Skills and Qualifications

CA qualified (ideally first-time passes) or equivalent qualification/experience is desired.

  • Experience in consulting or line management involved in realizing performance improvement or operational turnaround
  • Developed skills in top management consultancy or corporate environment – preferably both
  • Strong report writing and reviewing skills with attention to detail, conciseness, and risk management
  • Strong Excel skills for quick and accurate manipulation of data
  • Excellent track record and strong academic achievements
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proven analytical and business diagnostic skills
  • Strong commercial acumen and market awareness
  • Interest in working in a challenging and dynamic environment
  • Ability to work in a deal environment with staff at all levels of the organization
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
