Job Description

We are seeking an Automotive Specialist to fill a challenging role in our organization.

The ideal candidate will have strong vehicle system knowledge, including sub-systems and components, and the ability to diagnose and troubleshoot vehicles to make them roadworthy.

The successful candidate will be responsible for creating end-to-end diagnostic content for all automotive systems, analyzing vehicle communication bus logs using various analyzers, and simulating automotive systems using simulator solutions.

In addition, they will design and create workflow or test sequences using IDEs like BDX or Grade-X, evaluate OE diagnostic data, and implement useful insights in target testers.

The role also involves on-vehicle validation of implemented diagnostic content, creation of test reports, benchmarking and reverse engineering of aftersales & aftermarket diagnostic testers, and continuous learning and self-development.

The successful candidate will work closely with software engineering teams and technical experts from global teams.

Must Have Skills:

  • Strong vehicle system knowledge, including sub-systems and components.
  • Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot vehicles to make them roadworthy.
  • Understanding of OE system description, service & repair manuals.
  • Ability to independently handle diagnostic testers.
  • Experience with diagnostic testers like VIDA, Xentry, GDS, ADT, SDT-II, DiagBox, HDS, Launch, Autel, G-Scan, Zenith, etc.

Good To Have Skills:

  • Knowledge of programming languages.
  • IMSIS+ knowledge.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in aftersales vehicle service, diagnostics, and troubleshooting preferably in OEM dealerships/workshops.
  • Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in automotive diagnostic content development.

Qualifications:

  • BE/B. Tech/ME/M. Tech - Automobile/Mechanical.
