Principal Mining Geospecialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Geotechnical Engineer to lead our team in the iron ore open cast mining operation.

Job Description: The incumbent will be responsible for overseeing the entire geotechnical domain, including conducting studies, preparing feasibility reports, stability analysis, simulation modelling, and implementing solutions derived from these models. This includes designing pit layouts, stabilizing slopes, and monitoring geological conditions.

Required Skills and Qualifications: A postgraduate degree in Geological Science, Geology, Applied Geology, Engineering Geology, or a related field is required. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in geotechnical engineering, with expertise in mine operations, complex geological settings, and slope stabilization techniques.
